Welcome to the new British Spotted Pony Society web site..

There are a few exciting and useful additions to the new web site including a section with downloadable forms for all of the societies related paperwork. You will find a listing with the current prices for registrations, passports etc. The Stallion Directory and Sales Page is there for members to use so if you would like to add anything to this then please contact either myself or Debbie Tinklin with details.

The 2008 affiliated shows list will be frequently updated so keep checking for new dates added. Please note the date for the 2008 National Breed show is the 20th of July 2008 at Three Counties Showground, Malvern with the AGM being held the night before, to be followed with a social evening. The schedule will be available soon and you will be able to download it from the web site. There are lots of new shows holding spotted classes including Dorset County , who are holding an affiliated class this year for spotted ponies.

This news & results page is for members to relay their results and achievements with any BSpPS registered ponies so please keep us informed with affiliated show results and any high accolades gained by spotted ponies in any other open classes. Photos will be displayed on this page but need to be of a high quality please.

I am still looking for more high quality images of spotted ponies especially any of the larger ponies and also any ridden ponies to be placed throughout this web site.
Please feel free to email me with any ways in which you feel I could improve or manage this web site for you the members.

I am in the process of compiling the next newsletter and would welcome any articles anyone has for inclusion.

Mrs Amanda Breakell and Mrs Sandra O'Gormon are embarking on a new project and would like to call for all spotty owners/enthusiasts for a little help..
We wish to collate as much information on all spotted equines of all sizes for the pupose of creating a spotted ancestory archive.
At the moment to be stored electronically and hosted upon www.spotties.org.uk but in time it is our wish to proceed into hard format and create a book with the images and information provided.
It would be very much appreciated if interested parties would contact either mandy or Sandra with photographs etc for inclusion, or login to www.spotties.org.uk and upload your own information and images to our dedicated forum. " spotted ancestory ".
This is open to all spotteds, ie Knabstrupper, Appaloosa and British Spotted Ponies and will be an extremely valuable source of information for the future.
